Access Control

Access control is a system used to enforce limits on who can enter a building. The problem with traditional access control systems is that they do not provide accurate information on who is in or out of a building at any one time. This is because traditional access control systems do not cater for tailgating on entry to the building. Also, because nobody presents their credentials to the readers at door ways exiting a building, because the doors open automatically in an emergency evacuation, this means that there is no record of who has left the building. Safe Place Live caters for all of these eventualities.
